Immigration: New Arrivals on Lampedusa

ANSA – During the last hours 278 refugees have been saved from the coastguard of Lampedusa in the canal of Sicily. At 7.30am 86 refugees arrived on the island, with them have been seven pregnant women. They have been localized 80 miles south-west ahead the cost before. At sunrise the coastguard saved two other refugee-boats already, 100 miles ahead the cost, one boat with 92, the other with 100 passengers.

Recently 970 immigrants are living inside the reception-camp of Lampedusa.

At forenoon a group of refugees will be relocated to Porto Empedocle, a little city on the coast of Sicily, close to Agrigento.
